Creating an API Key on Klaviyo

Integrating Klaviyo as your Email Provider in Stoq

Stoq allows you to connect your Klaviyo account to send transactional emails and notifications to customers. Follow these steps to set up the Klaviyo integration.

Retrieve your Klaviyo API Keys

Log in to your Klaviyo account at https://www.klaviyo.com/
Click on your name or initials in the bottom left corner of the screen
In the pop-up menu, click on Settings
In the Settings menu, click on Account
In the Account settings page, click on API Keys in the sidebar menu
Click Create Private API Key
Give your API key a name like Stoq Integration - Full Access
Select Full Access under Access Permissions to grant Stoq the necessary permissions to sync customer data and send emails

Full Access keys grant the following permissions:
- Read and write profiles
- Read and write metrics
- Read and write events
- Read and write templates
- Read and write campaigns
- Read and write flows
- Read and write lists
- Read and write segments

Note: Full Access keys have broad permissions and should only be used with trusted applications like Stoq. Be sure to keep your private API key secure and never share it publicly.

Click "Create"
You will see a "Private API Key" that starts with pk_ & a Public API Key/Side ID. Keep this page open, you will need both keys to set up the integration in Stoq.

For more information on retrieving your Klaviyo API credentials, refer to the Klaviyo API documentation.
