A Portal for customers to cancel their Preorders

At Restock Rocket, we are committed to providing your customers with a seamless shopping experience. That's why we've introduced a new feature that allows customers to cancel their entire order directly through the preorder confirmation or shipping update email, anytime before the order is fulfilled.

Enable the Settings:

Navigate to Stoq: Log in to your Shopify navigate to Stoq dashboard and select 'Preorders'.
Email Settings: Go to the 'Email' section and click 'Customize email'.

How can your customers cancel the order?
To cancel an order, your customers need to follow these simple steps:

1, Open the Email: Locate the preorder confirmation or shipping update email.
Click 'Cancel Order': This button is embedded within the email and will direct the customer to a portal.
Enter Order Details: In the portal, customers must input their order number and email address.
Confirm Cancellation: Once the details are entered, the order information will appear along with a 'Cancel' button. Customers need to click and confirm the cancellation.
Please note, currently, it is not possible to cancel individual items within an order. The cancellation will apply to the entire order.






This feature is designed to give your customers more control over their purchases and reduce the need for manual cancellations on your end.
