Show payment widget and discounts for preorder products
Stoq now allows customers to see the payment types and discounts available directly on the product page. This visibility helps inform customers about their purchasing options and potential savings, enhancing transparency and encouraging preorder commitments.
Navigate to your dashboard and click on 'Preorders' from the left menu bar.
Select 'Edit Offer' for the product you want to update.
Click on the 'Payment' tab within your offer settings.
Toggle on "Show Payment Options" to activate the widget on your product page.
Choose the payment option (Full payment or Partial payment) you would like to offer under 'Payment type'
Customize the label for the title of the payment type and also the description to be shown in the payment widget.
If you've opted for partial payment as your payment option, you can configure either a percentage of the total cost or a specific amount to collect at checkout. Options can be selected by clicking on the icons next to the field where the percentage is entered. Remaining payments can be scheduled for collection on a specific date using the calendar, or set for a certain number of days after checkout. Selections can be made by clicking next to the icon provided.
Discounts on payments can be offered in several forms: percent off, fixed amount off, or none. To select a discount type, click on the corresponding radio button and enter the discount value you wish to provide. Additionally, the discount badge displayed in the payment widget can be customized to match you needs.
Once the setup is complete, click 'Save' on the bottom of the page for the changes to take place.
