Send specific number of notifications manually
Stoq App enhances your control over back-in-stock notifications with a new feature that allows you to target a specific number of customers after a product has been restocked. This addition empowers you to decide exactly how many notifications to send out for each product, tailoring your approach to match inventory levels and customer interest closely.
Open Stoq App and head to the 'Reports' section from the left menu bar.
Within the 'Products in Demand' tab, identify the product for which you want to send notifications.
Click on 'Send Notifications' located at the top right of the 'Current waitlist' tab.
A popup will present two options:
Send All Notifications: Opting for this sends pending requests for the product to all customers on the waitlist.
Send a Specific Set of Notifications: Select this to specify the number of notifications you wish to dispatch. Enter the desired number in the text box provided and click 'Send'.
Additionally, when initiating the 'Send Notifications' action, you'll have the opportunity to target specific notification channels. For instance, selecting 'Send SMS' from the dropdown will prompt a popup where you can choose to send notifications to all subscribers or only a specified number.
This feature extends to the 'Notifications Sent' tab, offering you the flexibility to resend notifications to a chosen number of customers. This can be particularly useful for re-engaging customers or managing inventory strategically.
